Holly + Fred
Holly + Fred live in NYC, but wanted the history and charm of Honey Horn Plantation for their wedding. Holly, having a design background, added a personal flair to their wedding that the guests really enjoyed! They dined on a southern selection of Lowcountry Boil, Bourbon Pecan Chicken, Gouda Mac n Cheese, Buttery Cornbread, and more! At the end of the night, cotton candy was given to their guests to enjoy. Jamie Bodie of JLK Events lead them through a great night of dancing and fun!

Ashleigh+Matt
The Beaufort Waterfront Pavilion was filled with Ashleigh + Matt's 155 guests. Karyn Iserman, photographer from Charleston, captured great moments from their day.
My favorite part of the wedding was the request for a "Man's Food Table" which was filled with PB&J sandwiches, and mini slider burgers! They also had assorted stations such as our famous crabcake station and cobb salad station. One of the enjoyed appetizers was a gazpacho shooter with a cucumber garnish.

Jenny + Matt
Without a doubt, the most laid back, bride + groom ever! It rained off and on (mostly on) their wedding day which meant they had about 20 minutes of sunshine for their ceremony.
We held the seated dinner for 90 people in the foyer of this private rental home!!!!!
Jenny+Matt planned destination from California for a year and we didn't meet until 2 days before their wedding. It's been several years since their day, but I will always remember the two of them!

Babs + Brian
Local couple, Babs + Brian, were too cute for words! 200+ guests and they chose a historic home in Bluffton where we set-up a ceremony on the front lawn then moved the guests out back for a tented reception.
Tent, tables and chairs from The Tent Factory! Delicious cake from Sherri's Edible Design. Flowers from Branches.
Cuisine consisted of passed appetizers of Mini Jumbo Lump Crabcakes, Tomato + Bacon "Wedding Ring" Finger sandwiches, and Fried Green Tomatoes.
Then, they guests dined on a grand buffet of Southern Favorites! Mini Fried Chicken Drummettes, Csorn + Spring Pea Salad, and even Fresh Watermelon.
It was a HOT summer day, but everyone enjoyed and they left with a sparkler send-off!

Kate + Charles
Kate + Charles were from Atlanta and married in Beaufort. They had a smaller reception of about 90 guests. Their married name is "Bartlett" and they used Bartlett Pears to hold the place cards-loved it!
They enjoyed a plated dinner of several courses: Mixed Green Salad with Proscuitto Wrapped Shrimp, Tortellini with Butternut Squash and Sage Butter, and Filet with whipped potatoes and Italian Pole Beans. They had an intermezzo course of a Lemon Sorbet.
The Jeff Beasley Band lead them in the dancing while they enjoyed a full dessert bar of mini pies, cheesecakes, cannolis, and more!

Jenna+Mark
The three letter word for this wedding was F-U-N! Setting was Indigo Run Clubhouse with inside passed appetizers including Asian Meatballs on Snow Pea Skewers and outside the 125 guests were transformed into a lovely reception.
Food was a grand buffet including a carving station after a plated salad. Then the guests enjoyed dancing into the night! The Tent Factory supplied all the tables, chairs and lighting.

Julie + Billy
Julie + Billy planned for their perfect day-and they got it! Perfect weather, amazing food, great music and a seamless event made for this treasured first dance. 150 guests filled the pavilion and danced under the globe lighting into the night. They enjoyed a family-style service dinner with a plated mixed green salad, pesto tortellini, and stuffed chicken breasts with roasted red peppers and spinach. They enjoyed a variety of appetizers and full bar at the terrace and completed the night with a dessert bar, cigar bar, and coffee+cordial station.
Austin+Nick
Seems to be the trend that some of my favorite weddings are at Honey Horn Plantation!
The backdrop of the oak trees are just spectacular!
Austin and her mom were nothing short of design experts and the decor-including all the floral/centerpieces-were their creation!
I don't believe the photographer is around, even though he did great pictures!
You can see their wedding on YouTube or check out the pictures! June Wedding at Honey Horn

Maria+Rich
Maria+Rich had an amazing wedding at Rose Hill Mansion under a beautiful tent supplied by The Tent Factory. The soft pick up lights, hanging lanterns and unique centerpieces designed by Jackie Lacy made it magical!
Alan Palchak was the DJ entertainer, Susan Vogal made a beautiful chocolate wedding cake that tasted so scrumptious! Photography by one of my most favs-Meg Baisden! SlideShow From Wedding
Downtown Catering +Events served a plated dinner, but Maria + Rich's favorites were the bacon wrapped Jumbo Sea Scallops!
